HD's have engine oil in a tank under the seat which lubricates the upper engine.

They also have transmission fluid which takes care of the bottom end of the engine including the crankcase.

Then there is the primary chaincase fluid which lubes the primary chain and the clutch (wet clutch).

Systems are pretty much the same on all HD's
